o In-Person Support Group- Looms for Lupus provides bilingual in-person support group and incorporate hands on workshops, Art Therapy such as Loom Knitting, mindfulness, meditation and other stress relieving techniques. Support Groups are for Lupus, Fibromyalgia survivors, their loved ones and caregivers. Meetings are held every Second Saturday of the month 9:30am-11:30am at the Kaiser Permanente Educational Outreach Program 4141 Maine Street, Baldwin Park, CA ( Due to Covid-19 All in person sessions are available via ZOOM)
o Facebook Live Support Group- Looms for Lupus provides a Spanish Facebook live support group session every second Saturday of the month via Looms for Lupus Facebook page at 8:00am PST. The support Group is intended to reach the Spanish speaking community in the U. S and Internationally as well. Our focus is to provide support, information, tools and stress relieving techniques to those living with Lupus, Fibromyalgia, their families and loved ones.
Virtual Support Group- Spanish Support Group- Starting May 9th, 2021 every second Saturday of the month at 9am PST.
Looms for Lupus Partners with other organizations to provide support those living with Lupus, Fibromyalgia or other Autoimmune conditions. The roles may vary from volunteering, presenting in conferences, symposiums. Locations include Los Angeles, CA, Orange County, CA, San Francisco, CA, Hawaii and Colorado.

Juana and Estela (Mata Sisters) provide support and host a booth providing bilingual information for Lupus, caregivers and loved ones. Raffle Basket Donation given annually includes: Loom Knitting Kit with Yarn, Scarf loom knitted by Looms for Lupus, essential oils, lavender candle, Mandala Coloring Book, Journal, Bath Salts, Positive Affirmations and Looms for Lupus T-Shirt.
Health Fairs\Community Outreach
Looms for Lupus attends health fairs and local community events to provide information, and resources on Lupus, Fibromyalgia. Looms for Lupus also raises awareness on Mental Health, those living with a chronic condition such as Lupus and Fibromyalgia have a higher rate of suffering from Depression.
